We envision an Idaho where every person has a home they can afford, where communities can grow without losing what makes them special, and where the way we grow preserves our open space, farmland, and quality of life.
Gem State was founded by policymakers, architects, developers, planners, nonprofit leaders, and pro-housing neighbors from across the state who believe that Idaho's housing shortage isn't solved when we work in silos.
The Alliance is how we move this vision forward.
The Founding 100
We're looking for 100 people and organizations to join us in building Idaho's housing future.
It takes all of us working together: showing up in city council chambers, building relationships with policymakers and city officials, and mobilizing local pro-housing groups. That's what sustaining this work looks like.
Our Alliance is currently 50 Members strong. We're looking for 50 people to join us by the end of September. Will you join us?
Individual Memberships
By becoming a member of Gem State Housing Alliance, Idaho's first statewide pro-housing advocacy effort, you're doing what our founders did: deciding Idaho's response to our housing shortage is best built together.
As a member, you'll have insider access to our coalition: a members-only newsletter, housing advocacy resources from the Welcoming Neighbors Network, exclusive invitations to members-only events like AMA sessions, and an annual itemized tax receipt.
